Eco Sailing Summer Camp for Teens
Where Adventure Meets Awareness
Ready to trade ordinary summer plans for an unforgettable island adventure?
Join Second Star Sailing Antigua for a 14-day sailing experience that’s all about exploring, learning, and living in the Caribbean lifestyle.
You’ll sail around Antigua, anchor in hidden coves, hike to incredile lookout points, and take part in eco-tours that connect you to the ocean, all while earning three internationally recognized RYA certifications!
Adventure with Purpose
This is not your average summer camp, its an eco powered sailing journey. We are partnered with a variety Eco conscious organizations and together we will;
- Kayak through Antigua’s mangroves in a floating classroom tour
- Travel to Barbuda to visit the Bird Sanctuary
- Snorkelling to see Antigua’s marine life and reef restoration.
- Joining in community outreach for beach cleanups, then recycling it into creative art projects.
Just to name a few.
Learn to SAIL, COMMUNCATE & SURVIVE.

RYA Competent Crew
Ready to become a key member of a sailing crew? You’ll steer the boat, trim the sails, learn knots, and tackle maneuvers like docking, anchoring, and man overboard drills. From nautical terms to basic navigation, you’ll learn it all—and have a blast doing it.
RYA VHF Radio
Get the certification for marine radios! This course teaches you how to use a VHF radio — communication with marinas and other boats, using distress signals in case of emergencies and more.
RYA Sea Survival
What would you do in an emergency at sea? This one-day class teaches you how to stay safe, use life rafts, signal for help, and keep calm while waiting for rescue. It’s hands-on, practical, and boosts your confidence on the water.
RYA Powerboat Level 2
Bonus Course
(OPTIONAL AFTER THE CAMP, BUT TOTALLY WORTH IT!):
This two-day course provides hands-on training in powerboat handling and safety. Learn techniques for docking, anchoring, planing-speed maneuvers, collision avoidance, docking, and man overboard recovery drills.
