The RYA Marine Radio Short Range Communications Course covers the required syllabus so that you may sit for the Short Range Certificate exam. The subjects include routine operation of marine VHF radio including Digital Selective Calling, communications such as Sécurité, Pan Pan and MayDay calls, and the Global Maritime Distress and Safety System (GMDSS), to name a few.
