Experience Antigua from the water!
As you laze on your beach looking out to sea, do you ever consider what it might be like viewing the many beaches and scenic coastline of our island from the sea? Our sailboat offers this opportunity with just as much rest, relaxation, or excitement as you wish.
What to expect
This cruise begins at 09:30am, and we set sail either north towards Deep Bay or south towards Carlisle Bay and Cades Reef, sailing on the calmer waters of Antigua’s west coast. En route you will get a spectacular view of the rolling hills of our west coast as you pass by Five Islands Harbour, Pinching Bay, Morris Bay, Ffreyes Beach, Darkwood Beach, Cades Reef and Curtain Bluff. There’s also the exciting possibility of spotting turtle or dolphins within feet of the boat.
When you meet our crew at the beginning of the day, you can speak to them about whether your ideal is an action-packed active day of sailing, of using our SUP around our anchoring location or to go to the beach, snorkeling at Cades Reef or simply relaxing while cruising at leisure and enjoying the sun, wind and views.
Participating in the sailing of the boat is always encouraged and most of our skippers are also sailing instructors and would love to have you helm and trim the sails to your heart’s content! You can also opt for a mixture of activities or even change your mind as the day goes along. Our great skippers will help you choose the best location and enjoy the day based on the weather and your preferences.
Within the 8 hours available we try to squeeze in as much sailing, beach and snorkeling time as you wish. We will do our best to make it happen! Our charters start from Second Star Sailing office in Jolly Harbour, located next to Al Porto Restaurant (easy to use for navigation if taking a Taxi or looking on maps).
If you’ve had a great time with your skipper and the crew, you’re more than welcome to show your appreciation by leaving a tip after the charter. Tips are not included in the charter price but are greatly appreciated.
