Unspoiled water off the Tuscany Coast

This is a sailing & snorkeling trip, which will allow you to either actively participate and sail the boat as much as you wish, or to have the opportunity to relax and soak up the scenery and sunshine instead.
Proposed Itinerary:
We board the boat at the marina at the Porto di Pisa on Thursday evening (or Friday morning early!) and after a safety brief and introduction to the boat, we sail off to Capraia, which lies between Italy and Corsica. The area is a beautiful protected marine park and scuba diving and snorkeling are favorite activities along the coast. The Cala Rossa is a favorite destination with its characteristic red rock walls contrasting the clear water.  The island’s port is protected from the north and northwesterly winds and provides very good local food and entertainment and access to walking tours and other activities.
The next morning, depending on the weather, we can sail around Capraia to find some hidden coves and other snorkeling gems, and then in the evening we are off to a good anchorage or a berth in the marina.   On Sunday, after another swim and a good brunch, we are off and sail back either directly to Pisa or along the Tuscan Coast a little – always depending on the wind.
A nice site to look at images of the island can be found at www.isoladicapraia.it
Please note that the proposed itinerary is always subject to change due to weather conditions and your Skipper’s judgment.
Should you have a full group hire, we can work with you to modify the trip to better suit your needs or include extras from our other offerings.    And if you are interested in additional activities, sports or equipment, we can help arrange that for you  – as always, just ask.
